Why build a website?

You’re asking me? How would I know? Just bored, I guess!

Honestly, I know full well that hardly anyone will read this site. But now that it exists, there’s nothing wrong with using it as a place to talk to myself and amuse myself. After all, it doesn’t go against public order or good morals.

I’m an INTP 5w6. I’m not sure whether that string of letters gives you any impression of me. Probably not enough! To be honest, introducing myself is something I find really hard.

There may not be much on this blog right now, but whatever I think of, research, or explore might be worth putting here. I know nobody will read it, but as I said, you can think of this site as me talking to myself.

It’s not what I intended, but honestly I’m too lazy to look after this site much, so make of it what you will. If you want to read, go ahead; if not, there’s still time to close the tab. Still, being lucky enough to run into you might count as a kind of fate.

The things I’m interested in are countless, but the ones I care about most are computers, mathematics, science fiction, and personality typology…

People often assume that those who like these things tend to be full of wisdom yet often lonely. Of course, I don’t think I’m any kind of smart person, but the lonely part is definitely true.

As the saying goes, you’re never too old to learn. Although I often call myself a “walking encyclopedia”, there’s still plenty I don’t know and plenty of room to improve. I don’t expect to know everything, past and present, but I hope to at least make some progress in my own fields.
